Who is Solo Locksmiths?

I am Jamie Wratten, a family man who has lived most of his life in Sussex and the owner and locksmith at Solo Locksmtiths. After many years of working within a locksmith franchise where I learned my trade, I decided it was time to work for myself. Prior to becoming a locksmith I worked in the probation service and with youth offenders, but upon becoming a father for the first time I decided it was time to work for myself. When I’m not in the van driving around Sussex locksmithing or at home with the family, I like to take an active role in supporting local charity organisations such as the Scouts. I love my job as a locksmith and really enjoy the problem-solving aspect of the role, I like to keep up to date with the new smart technologies and have a fondness for lock-sport, which for those that don’t know, is a sport for talented lockpickers to compete against each other on who can manually pick a lock the fastest.

Currently Solo Locksmiths is a one man and his van sole-trader business, who as well as having a wealth of locksmithing knowledge, a large variety of stock and have the ability to cut keys on site from my specialist key cutting machine on the van. We have a large number of local businesses we work for and work closely with, such as rental properties organisations where we can offer keying alike, restricted key profile and a master key suite system.
